You may have heard that these days are a challenge in residential construction. Price increases, delays, and supply chain problems are plaguing construction and renovation projects. Massachusetts architect Chris Novelli joined me in this episode to discuss common renovation mistakes.

Chris has a book coming out soon, the working title of which is Your Guide to Residential Design and Construction Projects, What to Expect and Plan For: An In-Depth Guide to Understanding Each Phase of Designing and Constructing your Custom Home. You can be sure he’s an expert on common renovation mistakes.

Chris and I met through EntreArchitect, that Facebook group for Architects that I mention frequently. He is a frequent guest at our backstage discussions for Context and Clarity with Jeff Echols and Katharine MacPhail (for small firm services providers) and has two podcasts of his own, Home Design Academy and Empty Lots, found wherever you listen to podcasts. Here is Chris and a few images of his work.
